After a long day rafting the Ocoee River we threw down karaoke style in my living room.  Thank you so much for everyone coming out and making the night so special.  A big BIG thank you to my wife, Angela, for working so hard on the event and making the night special.  I just said "special" twice - showing just how if felt!

Fresh Whole Rabbit

A whole fresh three pound dead rabbit delivered right to your door! This rabbit is also a gourmet product produced in the United States. The word gourmet almost makes rabbits sound like an animal you do not see smashed on the side of the road several times a week. The picture is so appetizing this product virtually sells itself!

Product Reviews

  • "I'm so glad that you can finally buy fresh whole rabbits, ready to go, right from Amazon! You might think that with the shipping charge, that this is a pricey item, but compared to with what I've been paying at Petco, this is a steal, especially when you consider the prep work that this saves me! If you value your time and your money, you'll order your bunnies online from now on. Delicious and plump, and none of that irksome pre-butchering hopping!"
  • "This is one of the finest rabbits I've ever had the pleasure to sink my teeth into. Tender, juicey...almost seemed like I caught it myself. I bought one right at Easter and put him on the back porch with a basket of old broken eggs to scare my daughter..one thing kids like is to be tricked. Afterwards, she was still crying..but we ate the "fried chicken" for lunch anyways...it was awesome!"
The Parent Child Testing Product worked as well as I hoped. I tested both my children using this device and confirmed my hunch - the 1-year old was going to turn out as badly as I thought, breaking my heart and living in the basement doing nothing but playing video games, and doing badly at that as well. Without this test, I'd have had to waste DECADES waiting for him to grow up before kicking him out. I'm taking him back to the hospital tomorrow morning.

This was the first bands road trip.  We got to Birmingham around 2pm and went to a run down dive burger joint.  It was the kinda deal where they said "Yall ain't from 'round here are ya!?"  We ended up going to Burger King.

The show went well!  But...

Randell (bass) and Dante (drums) couldn't get to the gig until super late.  So we had to switch with the last band.

Once we went on, we killed it!  Here's the video

The show got off to a little rocky start.  The new drummer and bassist were stuck in LA with a delayed flight.  With only two hours before load in, I called Jeff Hawkins.  (If you've been following the band for any time, you'd know that he was the first drummer.)  Jeff said he could make it (yay!) So it was game on with a three piece.  Jeff, Ettienne, and myself.

I talked to the sound guy before the show and told him to make the kick as loud as possible since we didn't have a bassist.  Also I wanted him to make the bass on my guitar louder.

He did a pretty good job.  The kick in the video is super overpowering.  But that's kinda what I asked for.  My vocals were a little low in the mix and I couldn't hear Ettienne's guitar at times.  But overall it was a solid sound without a bass guitar in the mix.

I have so many friends to thank for coming out...
Shawn & his wife
Tom & lady friend
Carol
Ean from Florida
Angela and Mandy (even though you were late)
James & Missy (James is a freakin' monster!  He carried my Marshall halfstack cabinet all the way to the car)
Beth & her friends
Nicole & her super sweet crew
Paul (my first roommate in Atlanta)
ah crap,,, I know I'm forgetting somebody (if I forgot you write a comment down below and tell me how terrible I am)

I was riding the scooter over to my buddies house to longboard.   I had no way to transport the longboard.  So I made a "longboard backpack".  It's actually a hiking backpack made by Marmot Glissade.  It's super sturdy and has lots of clips.

Hans Daniels Band Reviews
"Hans Daniels Band gig review Hans Daniels Band are a four piece band, their line up is the typical small rock band - bass, drums, and two guitars who are also doing the main and backing vocals. The band themselves call their style New American Rock, which turns out to be a very entertaining style of music -- mixing up funky stuff, a little bit of rap and indie rock and even some reggae sometimes. There are songs that just make you bound off your seats and dance, like the funky "Hey Yo" or "Friday Night Lights" where the bass player slaps away, others have a melancholy flair like the dreamy "Slip", here a lot of emotion comes across too, I am reminded of early U2 just a little, but this music is more sophisticated and tends to turn funky any minute."
Heidi Bobal, SixtySix Records (Jul 19, 2011)

"Their stage performance is nothing in the spectacular line, playing, a little movement, a line of talk from time to time. All the same they achieve to hold the audience in tension. Something comes across, the band clearly have fun and make the audience have fun too, and they convey emotion. I enjoyed the show, and will check out their gigs again, I can recommend this band to everyone who wants to spend an entertaining evening out with a band that rocks!"
Heidi Bobal, SixtySix Records (Jul 19, 2011)

"We were so excited to see Hans Daniels play at the Vinyl in Atlanta on Friday night. If you are looking for a new rock band look no further. The best thing I can tell you is to just check them out for yourself! We had an amazing time at their show and hope to see you next time they play!!"
